Merced School Employees Federal

of it’s newly remodeled 29,500 square

The grand opening celebration included an open
house, ribbon cutting and building dedication
ceremony.
The main branch provides the
latest in technological services and convenience.
It features a multi-station teller line, Members
Service Representatives, Loan Department, Real
Estate Department, Children’s area, ATM,

rooms, media plasma screens and safe deposit
boxes, along with 4 drive-up tellers and a drive-up

|

The credit union provided refreshments,
entertainment and prizes including $500 in cash,

the grand re-opening celebration.
|

Silva and Deavours presented Band Director,
Greg Christiansen, with a $1,000 check to help
defray the
costs of their trip to the Rose Bowl Parade
in January.
|
MSEFCU Board Chairman, Terry Silva, and President/CEO,
Nancy Deavours welcomed over 600 members and
guest to help celebrate the completion of their
building remodel. Silva thanked Rod Brawley,
Credit Union Construction Consultant, along
with sponsors for their contributions to the
project. “The remodel was to accommodate
our growing membership and for the convenience
of our members” said Deavours. “We’ve
enhanced our lobby with open spaces, comfortable
seating and new marketing media to create a
more spacious environment where members can
feel at home with us.” Plaques were unveiled
and rooms dedicated to honor founding fathers,
William DeSimone and Robert Wayne, two men instrumental
in starting the credit union. The Golden Valley
High School Band played music outside to greet
guests as they arrived.

and has grown into a full-service financial

hors d’oeuvres, beverages, giveaways and
a raffle.
The event was attended by TCU
Board members, the Merced community “circle
of influence,” ambassadors from the Merced
Chamber of Commerce, TCU staff and management. |
 |

TCU President and chief executive
officer,
Patsy Van Ouwerkerk
|
“We
were happy to have so many people from the Merced

area.”
Travis Credit Union's new Merced branch is a

fees and higher savings yields.

commitment to the communities it serves through
volunteerism, leadership and financial support
for local non-profits and community programs.

its members; its solid, secure history; and
its long-standing track record of dedicated

in its communities, a special contribution was
presented to Kathy Foster, Relay for Life Manager,

Dr.
Schuller moved to Merced in 1996 after graduating
from the University of Alberta Family Practice
Program. He has a Bachelor of Science degree
which he obtained With Distinction from the
University of Alberta. Merced’s bright
future as the home to California’s newest
UC Campus as well as the beautiful Sierra foothill
setting attracted him to the area. He established
himself in general practice, urgent care, and
obstetrics, first practicing from Merced and
later moving his practice to Atwater to join
the well respected Atwater Medical Group. As
his practice grew with the community his personal
interest in cosmetic laser procedures grew along
with it. The seed for a clinic dedicated to
non-ablative cosmetic laser procedures was planted
and grew into Andrev Laser Aesthetics where
Dr.Schuller himself provides all laser services. |

Our aim at Andrev Laser Aesthetics is to
provide medical cosmetic services that bridge
the gap between salon services and plastic
surgery in a relaxing modern facility using
state of the art equipment. After researching
the available technology for the last five
years we decided to bring the revolutionary
Cynosure Elite aesthetic laser to Merced.
With its combination of dual laser technology
and patented cooling system we are able to
fill the need for all laser services from
hair removal to anti-aging procedures and
vein removal with minimal discomfort.
