The Merced Police Department Presents
Merced’s Most Wanted
Trick or Treat for Unity Event



Don’t miss the first annual “Trick or Treat for Unity Event” sponsored by the Merced Police Dept. on Tuesday, October 31, at the Central Police Station, M St. Parking lot (611 West 22nd Street). The excitement starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Admission is free, but please note only kids will be given candy. The whole family is welcome and there will be special guests on hand to meet and greet everyone. Bring your own trick or treat bag and costume, and come celebrate with local public safety agencies. If you are interested in sponsoring the event or donating to this event,

The acclaimed trio treats you to a musical festival of lively Celtic melodies, from upbeat gems to "sing along" favorites passed down from generation to generation. Margie Butler, Paul Espinoza, and Kathy Sierra travel the world, performing on Celtic harp, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, accordion, penny whistle, and bodhran, while adding their sparkling vocals to the mix.

His is one of the most storied careers in modern music - Clint Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of '89, reaching #1 with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, Killin' Time. He followed that with the triple-platinum Put Yourself in My Shoes, and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the '90s. Perhaps most impressively, Clint wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including "A Better Man," "Where Are You Now," "When My Ship Comes In," "A Good Run of Bad Luck," "Summer's Comin'," "Like the Rain" and "Nothin' But the Taillights," part of a catalog that produced 22 #1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era.

James Garner and his band return to the Merced Theatre! They proudly present the Man in Black’s music as fans, for fans in this amazing Johnny Cash tribute. It celebrates the life and music of Cash by faithfully recreating Cash’s biggest hits such as “Folsom Prison Blues”, “I Walk the Line”, “Ring of Fire”, etc. with strong conviction and stunning accuracy. James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash incorporates historical accounts and personal anecdotes about America’s most beloved singing storyteller with the boom-chicka-boom sound of his longtime backing band, the Tennessee Three. With more than 250 professional shows to its credit, James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash is solidly established as one of the best tribute acts in the country.
